La científica Marta Toscano, ganadora reciente del Premio Houssay 2022, aseguró que "podemos hacer un montón de desarrollos nuevos pero si no llegan a la población son en vano", y reivindicó la importancia de la investigación traslacional en salud que tiene una mirada integral que va desde la investigación en el laboratorio hasta su aplicación en la comunidad.
