En tiempos en que Manuel Vicente Maza era gobernador de Buenos Aires, un bioquímico-botánico italiano abrió en la esquina de Potosí y Reconquista (actualmente Adolfo Alsina y Defensa) la primera farmacia de la Argentina. Hoy, 189 años después, conserva el encanto de sus mejores tiempos, sin la frialdad de las cadenas que llegaron desde otras tierras.
